About the client
Our client specializes in the purchasing, storage and distribution of fresh food products. Every day, they deliver high-quality products, such as vegetables, fruit, meat, fish, dairy products and dry grocery items, to hospitals, healthcare institutions and other professional customers. Quality, freshness and reliability are always their top priorities.
What will you do?
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will work in a professional production environment where you work with fresh ingredients on a daily basis. You will ensure that products are prepared and processed according to recipes, with quality and hygiene being top priorities.
Your duties will include:
-Reading and following recipes;
-Weighing and preparing ingredients;
-Mixing and processing products;
-Grinding ingredients;
-Cooking products;
-Keeping your workspace and equipment clean;
-Working together and coordinating with colleagues from other departments.
Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that the production process runs efficiently and that the products meet the highest quality standards.
You will work according to a fixed schedule:
-Monday to Saturday (5 working days per week);
-Working hours from 06:00 to 15:00.
Saturday is a fixed working day. In return, you will have one weekday off (Monday to Friday).
Dit bezit je:
- Experience as a chef, butcher, or baker is an advantage;
- Motivated and eager to learn;
- Reliable and accurate;
- You speak Dutch or English.
Wat ontvang je?
- Salary for the Kitchen Employee position: from €16.00 gross per hour, depending on experience;
- Travel expenses: From 10 km one-way, €0.21 per km is reimbursed, calculated from the first kilometre, up to a maximum of 20 km one-way.
- Work clothing, safety shoes and PPE are provided.
- If performance is satisfactory, there is an opportunity to be hired directly by the employer after 1,040 hours worked.
