Wat ga je doen?
We are looking for an enthusiastic Packaging Operator for an international manufacturing company in Kerkrade, who is willing to work a three-shift rota. In this varied role, you will ensure that the packaging process runs smoothly and contribute to an efficient production process.
What will you be doing?
As a Packaging Operator, you’ll be working daily to ensure the packaging lines operate at their best. You’ll monitor the process, intervene when necessary and ensure product quality is maintained.
Your duties will include:
- Setting up, operating and monitoring various packaging machines;
- Resolving minor technical faults and anomalies;
- Replenishing packaging materials to ensure the process can continue running;
- Carrying out quality checks in accordance with the applicable guidelines;
- Cleaning the machines and ensuring a tidy workplace;
- Recording production data and any notable incidents.
Working hours (3-shift system) You will work an average of 37.5 hours per week on a 3-shift rota:
- Morning shift: 06:45 to 15:00;
- Afternoon shift: 14:45 to 23:00;
- Night shift: 22:45 to 07:00.

For the role of Packaging Operator, we are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in a production environment or as an operator;
- Has technical insight and is able to identify faults quickly;
- Works accurately and prioritises quality;
- Puts safety first;
- Is proficient in Dutch and/or English;
- Experience in the food industry is a definite advantage, but not a requirement.
