Do you have experience in production and do you enjoy working with machinery and foodstuffs? We are looking for a motivated Bakery Operator for an international production company in Kerkrade, to work on a three-shift rota. You will be working in a professional production environment where quality, hygiene and safety are paramount every day.
In this role, you will be a key link in the production process. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that products are prepared according to the recipes and that the production lines continue to operate optimally.
What will you be doing?
As a Bakery Operator, you will be involved in various stages of the production process. You will ensure that the correct ingredients and recipes are used and will closely monitor the machines and processes during production.
Your duties will include:
- Preparing dough according to set recipes;
- Setting up, operating and monitoring production machinery;
- Identifying deviations in the production process;
- Attempting to resolve minor technical faults independently;
- Keeping machinery, materials and the workplace clean and tidy;
- Accurately recording production and process data;
- Working in accordance with quality, safety and hygiene regulations.
Your working hours
You will work an average of 37.5 hours per week on a three-shift rota. You will be assigned to the following shifts:
- Morning shift: 06:45 – 15:00
- Afternoon shift: 14:45 – 23:00
- Night shift: 22:45 – 07:00

For this role, we are looking for a Bakery Operator who has already gained experience in a production environment and is keen to take responsibility for the production process.
You will also have:
- Experience as an operator, production operator, machine operator, packaging operator or in a similar role within the food industry;
- Experience with production processes and working to recipes;
- An independent and proactive approach to work;
- A strong sense of responsibility;
- A meticulous way of working;
- Attention to quality, safety and hygiene;
- A good command of Dutch and/or English.

- €2,886 gross per month;
- Shift allowances of 34%, 37% and 100%;
- Travel allowance of €0.21 per kilometre from 10 kilometres onwards;
