Wat ga je doen?
For a large and growing company in Kerkrade that produces tortillas, we are looking for an operator to work in a 3-shift system. The work is taken seriously, but there’s also room for fun and a good atmosphere on the shop floor.
What will you do as an operator?
You’ll ensure that the freshly baked tortillas are neatly packaged in the correct wrapping for our clients. Additionally, you'll be involved with:
- Metal detection and checking the correct weight
- Loading the correct foil into the machine
- Coordinating with colleagues from the bakery and packaging line
- Resolving minor malfunctions yourself
- Recording tasks on forms
- Keeping your workspace clean and tidy

Dit bezit je:
- Experience as an operator. Experience in a food environment is a plus, but not required.
- A hands-on mentality and a strong sense of responsibility.
- An interest in learning all the ins and outs of the trade.
- A natural focus on quality, hygiene, and safety.
- You have a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
Wat ontvang je?
- Starting salary: €16.78 gross per hour, excluding shift allowance of 34%, 37%, or 100%, depending on the time you work
- Travel allowance from 10 km onwards: €0.21 per km
- Possibility of a permanent contract if you perform well
- Safety shoes will be provided, and the company supplies clean work clothing every day
